Stonemason price list — from €250 / linear metre
Indicative price ranges for stonework. Prices are quoted per linear metre (lm) of a standard 60 cm deep, 2 cm thick kitchen worktop and include material, cutting, a standard edge and installation in the Bratislava area. Exact pricing is provided after measurement.
How we price
A stonemason quote is not a flat „rate per m²“ — it is built up from several components. The final price reflects:
- Material — type of stone, origin (Carrara, Calacatta, Brazil, India), slab format and thickness.
- Fabrication — cutting, edge calibration, cut-outs for sink, hob and tap.
- Details — edge type (square, bevel, bullnose, mitre 45°), number and type of openings.
- Logistics — slab transport, on-site installation, distance from our workshop (Ivanská cesta 32F, Bratislava).
- Complexity — bookmatching/vein-matching, islands, waterfall sides, bespoke shapes.
Price ranges by material
The following prices are indicative for a 60 cm deep, 2 cm thick kitchen worktop including installation in Bratislava. Large-format cladding, bathrooms and fireplaces are quoted individually.

| Quartz / quartzite | €280 – €600 / bm | Very hard, scratch- and heat-resistant, natural patterning. A versatile choice for kitchens. |
| Engineered stone | €200 – €500 / bm | Industrial composite. Homogeneous pattern, non-porous, hygienic, virtually maintenance-free. |
lm = linear metre of a 60 cm deep worktop. For islands (90+ cm depth), windowsills or large-format cladding we quote per m².
Surcharges and special work
Common surcharges that may add to the base price:
- Mitre / 45° edge — visually thicker, monolithic-looking edge: +€80–€150/lm.
- Sink cut-out (undermount or flush): +€60–€180 per cut-out.
- Hob, tap or dispenser cut-out: +€20–€60 per opening.
- Kitchen island over 2.4 m or with waterfall side: +€200–€600 depending on scope.
- Special edges (bullnose, ogee, bevel, polished edge): +€20–€80/lm.
- Bookmatching / vein-matching for premium materials: +10–25 % of material cost.

Linear kitchen, 4 lm
Linear layout, standard granite, 2 cm thick, sink and hob cut-outs, square edge.
4 lm × €280 (granite) + €130 (sink) + €40 (hob) ≈ €1,290.
Kitchen with island
L-shaped 3.5 lm + 2.2 m island with mitre 45° edge, quartz, undermount sink, double waterfall.
Includes mitre edge on the island and waterfall sides — typical project.
Bathroom, 12 m²
Large-format quartz on walls (15 m²) + floor (8 m²), curbless shower with sloped stone tray, bespoke stone basin.
Includes material, substrate prep, waterproofing, installation and stone basin.
